Overall: A boy’s brother gets kidnapped, but he starts to sense something suspicious about his brother. Later, he starts to suspect his ownself.

I won’t mention the movie’s genre. That means I won’t say whether it is horror, adventure, time-travel, or anything else. Just know that it is a mystery movie.

The interesting thing is that while watching it, I first thought it belonged to one genre.After 30+ minutes, I thought it might be another genre.When the climax arrived, I still thought maybe the movie would end right there.But the real mystery and the true genre were revealed only in the very last moments of the movie.

That was the element that kept the attraction and curiosity alive from the very beginning.

Although everything is presented like a typical movie about ordinary people’s daily lives—moving into a new house and cracks appearing in a lovely family—it makes itself unique in an extraordinary way.

Another good aspect is its smoothness! something I often like to mention in movie reviews.

There were no unnecessary scenes or dialogues in the movie.

I have watched many confusing movies where you become very puzzled at first, and everything becomes clear at the end.

There is a trick such movies often use to confuse the audience—so that you can’t understand the story immediately—is by not mentioning the dates of the events.

In many movies, they clearly mention how many years ago something happened or how many years later. But in those confusing movies, they simply keep showing one scene after another. It becomes the viewer’s responsibility to figure out which events happened earlier and which happened later.

However, this technique isn’t used in “Forgotten” . Instead, the movie actually shows the dates of the events—but they appear within the scenes themselves. They aren’t separately announced or written at the bottom of the screen.

So throughout the entire movie, you need to keep your eyes and ears open. If you miss even a small line of dialogue, it can become difficult to understand the story.

If I talk about drawbacks or the bad side, I would say there was a lack of concern from the surrounding people. Even after so many strange things happened. The neighbors didn’t tell the main lead anything in the beginning.However, at a certain point in the movie, the main lead learns many things from outsiders.

In conclusion, apart from this minor issue, I couldn’t find any other mistakes even after looking carefully. The movie also avoids excessive dark scenes and instead uses good lighting.It is definitely worth watching.

I watched this movie at my village home. Since then, it has held a special place in my heart.Even hearing its name gives me a strange nostalgic feeling. ✨
