When Nothing Goes the Way You Want โ€” An Islamic Reminder ๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿ’”

Sometimes in life, no matter how hard you try, things just donโ€™t go your way. You plan, you pray, you work โ€” yet the door you keep knocking on never opens. Itโ€™s easy to feel lost, ignored, and even wonder, โ€œWhy isnโ€™t Allah listening to me?โ€ But the truth is โ€” Allah always listens. He never ignores His servant. The delay is not rejection; itโ€™s protection and preparation.

In Islam, weโ€™re taught that when something doesnโ€™t go our way, itโ€™s not because Allah wants to hurt us, but because He wants to guide us to something better. Maybe what youโ€™re asking for isnโ€™t good for you right now. Maybe youโ€™re not ready for it yet. Or maybe Allah wants to give you something far greater than what youโ€™re asking for โ€” at the perfect time. Remember, Allahโ€™s timing is always wiser than our planning.

When you feel unheard, keep your heart connected to Him. Pray sincerely, even if your voice shakes. Talk to Allah in sujood โ€” tell Him your fears, your dreams, your disappointments. Cry if you must; those tears are seen. Increase your dua, dhikr, and patience. Keep doing good deeds, even when you feel tired. Allah says in the Qurโ€™an, โ€œIndeed, with hardship comes easeโ€ (Surah Ash-Sharh 94:6). The ease will come, not on your timing, but on His โ€” and it will be worth every moment of waiting.

So donโ€™t stop asking, even if you donโ€™t see results. Keep your faith steady. One day, when the door finally opens, youโ€™ll realize why every other one had to close. ๐ŸŒฟโœจ
